The Spring Lions basketball team (Spring, TX), was nudged 64-58 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX)

The Mustangs now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clear Brook for a non-league battle on Monday, December 12. Cypress Ranch will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 53-46 non-league loss to Manvel (Manvel, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-8.

The Lions (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Aldine (Houston, TX). The Mustangs come into the 6A Region II District 14 battle with a 5-8 record.
