The DuVal Tigers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Friendly Patriots to 31 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwestern for a Prince George's County 4A contest on Tuesday, December 13. DuVal will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 53-46 non-league win over College Park Academy (Riverdale, MD). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.

The Patriots (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD). The Yellowjackets enter the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Gwynn Park triumphed over St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
