In Saturday's non-league match, the host Eastern Mennonite Flames basketball team scored a good 70-54 triumph over the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles.

In their next game, the Flames face the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 17. Eastern Mennonite will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Green Hornets enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 81-58 non-league loss to Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA).
