Mississippi High School Basketball - Philadelphia overwhelmed by Grace Baptist Academy
December 10, 2022: Ocean Springs, MS 39564 The Grace Baptist Academy Flyers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Philadelphia Tornadoes to 32 in the Flyers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Flyers now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Picayune for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Grace Baptist Academy will battle a Maroon Tide team coming off a 53-47 non-league loss to Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 5-9.
The Tornadoes (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS). The Gators come into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Leake County triumphed over Pelahatchie (Pelahatchie, MS), 50-43, in a non-league contest.
