December 10, 2022: Zapata, TX 78076 The Harmony School of Excellence (Laredo, TX) basketball knocked off the host Zapata Hawks (Zapata, TX), 47-37 in Saturday's non-league test.
The (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Pearsall (Pearsall, TX). The Mavericks go into the non-league test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Pearsall went down by Lehman (Kyle, TX), 51-43, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Rio Grande City for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Zapata will encounter a Rattlers squad coming off a 74-56 non-league loss to Hanna (Brownsville, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 8-11.
