December 10, 2022: Haven, KS 67543 The Haven Wildcats basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Sterling Black Bears to 34 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nickerson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Haven will battle a Panthers team coming off a 50-18 non-league loss to Hesston (Hesston, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
The Black Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hoisington (Hoisington, KS). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Hoisington prevailed over Ellis (Ellis, KS), 60-33, in a non-league contest.
