In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Jefferson Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 88-34 triumph over the Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 match, on Tuesday, December 13. Jefferson will attempt to move on its 5-14 season record. The Voks enter the match with a 7-9 record after their 51-45 non-league loss to Davenport (San Antonio, TX).
