Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Justin Garza Guardians (Fresno, CA), 69-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kennedy upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Foothill (Bakersfield, CA) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-11. Foothill lost 48-33 in their recent non-league bout against California City (California City, CA)

Next up, the Guardians clash with the Fowler Redcats (Fowler, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Justin Garza will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Redcats go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 68-37 league win over Riverdale (Riverdale, CA).
