Oregon High School Basketball - Newport tops Klamath Union
December 10, 2022: Newport, OR 97365 Newport Cubs (Newport, OR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Klamath Union Pelicans (Klamath Falls, OR), 56-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Newport upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Tillamook (Tillamook, OR) to play the Cheesemakers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Cheesemakers come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Tillamook lost 52-25 in their recent non-league bout against Valley Catholic (Beaverton, OR)
