December 10, 2022: San Antonio, TX 78247 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Hill Panthers (Liberty Hill, TX) and the host Madison Mavericks (San Antonio, TX), saw Liberty Hill's basketball squad hold off Madison by a count of 60-56.
With the victory, Liberty Hill upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Burnet (Burnet, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 12. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Burnet won 75-64 in their recent non-league challenge against Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX)
Next up, the Mavericks play the SA Roosevelt Rough Riders (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 challenge, on Friday, December 16. Madison will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Rough Riders come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 83-56 non-league loss to Clear Lake (Houston, TX).
