Texas High School Basketball - Whitesboro tops Lone Oak
December 10, 2022: Whitesboro, TX 76273 Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX), 57-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Whitesboro upgrades its record to 1-7 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX) to play the Bearcats in a 3A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Bearcats come into the bout with a record of 1-8.
Next up, the Buffaloes play the Bonham Warriors (Bonham, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Lone Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 37-27 non-league loss to Honey Grove (Honey Grove, TX).
