High School Basketball - Non Varsity Opponent thwarts New Deal
December 10, 2022: , The Non Varsity Opponent (, ) basketball knocked off the visiting New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX), 46-37 in Saturday's non-league test.
The (24-93) will now prepare for their test against Hunter College (New York, NY). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Hunter College went down by Graphic Communication Arts (New York, NY), 67-63, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Whitharral for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. New Deal will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 42-41 non-league loss to All Saints Episcopal School (Lubbock, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
