Trinity Trojans (Euless, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX), 67-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Trinity upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 8-3. The Woodlands lost 53-40 in their recent non-league bout against Rockwall (Rockwall, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Cedar Park Timberwolves (Cedar Park, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Nixon will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 65-32 non-league loss to Reagan (San Antonio, TX).
