New York High School Basketball - Saranac overwhelmed by Queensbury
December 10, 2022: Queensbury, NY 12804 The Saranac Chiefs basketball squad (Saranac, NY), was trounced 65-25 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Queensbury Spartans (Queensbury, NY)
The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY). The Bulldogs go into the Section 2 Foothills outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, South Glens Falls walloped Granville (Granville, NY), 54-50, in a non-league test.
The Chiefs now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Plattsburgh for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I test on Tuesday, December 13. Saranac will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 68-47 league loss to Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY). The Hornets record now stands at 0-3.
