December 10, 2022: Van, TX 75790 The Van Vandals (Van, TX) basketball felled the visiting Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX), 36-28 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Vandals (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Quitman (Quitman, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Quitman was beaten by Sanger (Sanger, TX), 56-51, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mineola for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. Rains will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 51-49 non-league loss to Community (Nevada, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-5.
