In Saturday's non-league outing, the Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) basketball squad beat the visiting Weed Cougars (Weed, CA), by a margin of 55-45.

The Huskies (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Miners go into the 5A Northern outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Bishop Manogue defeated Valley (Sacramento, CA), 85-34, in a non-league outing.

The Cougars now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Bernard's for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 15. Weed will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 68-46 non-league loss to Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-3.
