New Mexico High School Basketball - St. Pius X nips Santa Fe
December 10, 2022: Santa Fe, NM 87505 St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM), 56-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Pius X upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Sartans host Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Demons play the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Santa Fe will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 82-59 non-league win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
