The Brook Hill Guard basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Big Sandy Wildcats to 22 in the Guard non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Guard now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rusk for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Brook Hill will battle a Eagles team coming off a 44-32 non-league win over Midland Christian (Midland, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-2.

The Wildcats (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX). The Tigers enter the 2A Region III District 21 contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Linden-Kildare triumphed over Tournament Opponent (, ), 50-13, in a non-league contest.
