December 10, 2022: Decorah, IA 52101 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings (Decorah, IA) and the visiting Chatfield Gophers (Chatfield, MN), saw Decorah-North Winneshiek's basketball squad wallop Chatfield by a tally of 73-47.
With the victory, Decorah-North Winneshiek improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Crestwood (Cresco, IA) to confront the Cadets in a Northeast Iowa challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Cadets come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Crestwood won 41-39 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Charles (St. Charles, MN)
Next up, the Gophers confront the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons (Wabasha, MN) in a A Section 1 challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Chatfield will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 64-30 league loss to Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN).
