December 10, 2022: Colome, SD 57528 In Saturday's league outing, the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars (Corsica, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Colome Cowboys (Colome, SD), by a margin of 72-16.
The Jaguars (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Avon (Avon, SD). The Pirates go into the B Region 5 outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Avon smashed Marty Indian (Marty, SD), 64-63, in a league outing.
The Cowboys now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bennett County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Colome will battle a Warriors team coming off a 54-36 non-league win over Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
