December 10, 2022: Petrolia, TX 76377 The Petrolia Pirates basketball team (Petrolia, TX), was routed 56-20 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Denver City Mustangs (Denver City, TX)
The Mustangs now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brownfield for a 3A Region I District 3 battle on Tuesday, December 13. Denver City will battle a Cubs team coming off a 57-22 non-league loss to Panhandle (Panhandle, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 4-8.
The Pirates (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bowie (Bowie, TX). The Jackrabbits come into the non-league battle with a 12-6 record.
