Georgia High School Basketball - Elbert County crushes Murray County
December 10, 2022: Chatsworth, GA 30705 Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA), 67-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Elbert County upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Blue Devils host Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-2.
Next up, the Indians play the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) in a AA Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Murray County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 41-28 non-league loss to Armuchee (Rome, GA).
