Minnesota High School Basketball - Elk River crushes Moorhead
December 10, 2022: Elk River, MN 55330 Elk River Elks (Elk River, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN), 63-21 in a league bout.
With the win, Elk River upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Elks host Buffalo (Buffalo, MN) to clash with the Bison in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 1-4.
Next up, the Spuds clash with the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN) in a AAAA Section 8 bout, on Monday, December 12. Moorhead will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Sabres go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 70-49 league win over Willmar (Willmar, MN).
