In Saturday's non-league outing, the Escalante Lobos (Tierra Amarilla, NM) basketball squad edged the visiting Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM), by a margin of 61-55.

The Lobos (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Navajo Prep was tipped by Hobbs (Hobbs, NM), 65-27, in a non-league outing.

The Cougars now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Cuba for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 21.
