December 10, 2022: Warrensburg, IL 62573 The Lutheran/Calvary Crusaders basketball team (Springfield, IL), was overwhelmed 55-24 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals (Warrensburg, IL)
The Cardinals now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tuscola for a Central Illinois battle on Monday, December 12. Warrensburg-Latham will confront a Warriors team coming off a 38-29 league win over Sullivan (Sullivan, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 9-0.
The Crusaders (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Mt. Pulaski trounced Illini Central/Greenview (Mason City, IL), 54-25, in a league battle.
