New Rochelle Huguenots (New Rochelle, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ossining Pride (Ossining, NY), 64-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Rochelle upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Huguenots host Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY) to clash with the Admirals in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Admirals go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Pride clash with the Somers Tuskers (Lincolndale, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Ossining will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Tuskers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 48-46 non-league loss to Hendrick Hudson (Montrose, NY).
