The Rochelle Hornets basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Rising Star Wildcats to 23 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hornets now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eden for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13.

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brookesmith (Brookesmith, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Brookesmith was defeated by Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX), 61-9, in a non-league contest.
