Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hug Hawks (Reno, NV), 31-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Spring Creek upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Wooster (Reno, NV) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Hawks play the Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Hug will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
