California High School Basketball - Sutter knocked off by Rio Americano
December 10, 2022: Sutter, CA 95982 The Rio Americano Raiders basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Sutter Huskies to 39 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Raiders now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jesuit for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Rio Americano will battle a Marauders team coming off a 44-39 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Stockton, CA). The Marauders record now stands at 5-2.
The Huskies (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pierce (Arbuckle, CA). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Pierce was defeated by Burbank (Sacramento, CA), 70-27, in a non-league contest.
