California High School Soccer - North Salinas nudges Fremont
December 10, 2022: Salinas, CA 93906 North Salinas Vikings (Salinas, CA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Vikings face the Alisal Trojans (Salinas, CA) in a PCAL - Gabilan challenge, on Monday, January 9. North Salinas will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record.
The Firebirds now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lynbrook for a SCVAL - El Camino challenge on Thursday, December 15. Fremont will face a Vikings team coming off a 2-2 non-league Harker (San Jose, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-2.
