New York High School Basketball - Oneonta can't hold off Spackenkill
December 10, 2023: Oneonta, NY 13820 The Spackenkill Spartans basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Oneonta Yellowjackets to 61 in the Spartans non-league victory on Sunday.
The Spartans now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Onteora for a Section 9 Mid Hudson III contest on Tuesday, December 12.
The Yellowjackets (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Chenango Valley (Binghamton, NY). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Chenango Valley was nudged by Susquehanna Valley (Conklin, NY), 75-60, in a non-league contest.
