December 10, 2024: Lafayette, LA 70506 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) and the visiting Abbeville Wildcats (Abbeville, LA), observed Acadiana's basketball team knock off Abbeville by a score of 63-49.
The Rams (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (Youngsville, LA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy was knocked off by Mentorship Academy (Baton Rouge, LA), 58-45, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Abbeville falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Church Point (Church Point, LA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 11. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Church Point won 74-71 in their recent non-league bout against Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA)
