The Turner Lions basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting Adams Cougars to 30 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Trimble Tech for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. Turner will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 30-28 non-league loss to Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-13.

With the loss, Adams falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Spruce (Dallas, TX) to confront the Timberwolves in a 5A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Timberwolves go into the game with a record of 3-7.
