Michigan High School Basketball - Beal City holds off Alma
December 10, 2024: Alma, MI 48801 The Beal City Aggies basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Alma Panthers to 65 in the Aggies non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Aggies now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Northern Michigan Christian for a Highland game on Wednesday, December 11. Beal City will confront a Comets team coming off a 74-33 league loss to Pine River Area (Leroy, MI). The Comets record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Alma falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Garber (Essexville, MI) to confront the Dukes in a Tri-Valley - Red game on Friday, December 13. The Dukes go into the game with a record of 3-1. Garber lost 59-37 in their recent non-league game against Cadillac (Cadillac, MI)
