The Altoona-Midway Jets basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Marais des Cygnes Valley Trojans to 49 in the Jets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Jets now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hartford for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. Altoona-Midway will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 83-12 non-league win over Southern Coffey County (Leroy, KS). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Marais des Cygnes Valley falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Southern Coffey County (Leroy, KS) to confront the Titans in a non-league game on Thursday, December 12.
