California High School Basketball - Damien overwhelms Franklin
December 10, 2024: La Verne, CA 91750 The Damien Spartans basketball team scored 97 points and limited the visiting Franklin Panthers to 41 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now have a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Orange Lutheran for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. Damien will confront a Lancers team coming off a 54-46 non-league win over Gahr (Cerritos, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Franklin falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11. The Knights go into the game with a record of 6-4. Sherman Oaks CES won 91-58 in their recent non-league game against Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA)
