December 10, 2024: Cullman, AL 35058 The Section Lions (Section, AL) basketball crushed the host Fairview Aggies (Cullman, AL), 66-41 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Sand Mountain for a 2A Area 16 bout on Friday, December 13. Section will play a Bison team coming off a 91-88 non-league loss to Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL). The Bison record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Fairview falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Aggies host Arab (Arab, AL) to play the Knights in a 5A Area 14 bout on Friday, December 13. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Arab lost 77-69 in their recent league bout against Scottsboro (Scottsboro, AL)
