December 10, 2024: Bethlehem, PA 18020 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pocono Mountain East Cardinals (Swiftwater, PA) and the host Freedom Patriots (Bethlehem, PA), observed Pocono Mountain East's basketball team overwhelm Freedom by a score of 68-41.
The Cardinals (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Louis E. Dieruff (Allentown, PA). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Louis E. Dieruff was routed by Allentown Central Catholic (Allentown, PA), 60-33, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Easton Area Rovers (Easton, PA) in a Eastern Pennsylvania - Steel challenge, on Friday, December 13. Freedom will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Rovers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 66-39 non-league win over Stroudsburg (Stroudsburg, PA).
