Georgia High School Basketball - Kell bests Union Grove
December 10, 2024: Marietta, GA 30066 The Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) basketball toppled the visiting Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA), 73-61 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Longhorns now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Westlake for a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. Kell will play a Lions team coming off a 72-62 non-league win over Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA). The Lions record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Union Grove falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA) to play the Eagles in a AAAA Region 2 bout on Friday, December 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Eagle's Landing lost 66-62 in their recent league bout against Ola (McDonough, GA)
