December 10, 2024: Maynard, AR 72444 The Wynne Yellowjackets basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Maynard Tigers to 47 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Batesville for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. Wynne will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 49-40 non-league win over Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Maynard falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Tigers host Earle (Earle, AR) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A Region 3 game on Friday, December 13. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 4-0. Earle won 64-49 in their recent league game against Ridgefield Christian (Jonesboro, AR)
