The Mt. Zion Braves were victorious over the host Richland County Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 51-40 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Braves clash with the Taylorville Tornadoes (Taylorville, IL) in a Apollo outing, on Friday, December 13. Mt. Zion will attempt to upgrade on its 6-0 season record. The Tornadoes enter the outing with a 1-3 record after their 60-48 non-league win over Canton (Canton, IL).
