Texas High School Basketball - New Home holds off Texline
December 10, 2024: New Home, TX 79383 The New Home Leopards basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Texline Tornadoes to 58 in the Leopards non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Leopards now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Forsan for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. New Home will confront a Buffaloes team coming off a 85-39 non-league win over Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 9-1.
The Tornadoes (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Lubbock Christian held off Littlefield (Littlefield, TX), 53-43, in a non-league outing.
