Texas High School Basketball - St. Paul overwhelms Runge
December 10, 2024: Shiner, TX 77984 The St. Paul Cardinals basketball team scored 88 points and limited the visiting Runge Yellowjackets to 16 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host New Braunfels Thunder for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. St. Paul will confront a Homeschool team coming off a 67-46 non-league win over Lifegate Christian (Seguin, TX). The Homeschool record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Runge falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Prairie Lea (Prairie Lea, TX) to confront the Indians in a 1A Region IV District 30 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Indians go into the game with a record of 0-4.
