Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Sharon overwhelms Sharpsville
December 10, 2024: Sharon, PA 16146 The Sharon Tigers basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Sharpsville Blue Devils to 31 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Iroquois for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Sharon will confront a Braves team coming off a 68-40 non-league loss to Hickory (Hermitage, PA). The Braves record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Sharpsville falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Commodore Perry (Hadley, PA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 0-3. Commodore Perry lost 59-56 in their recent non-league game against Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA)
