In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host United South Panthers basketball team scored a close 57-53 triumph over the Somerset Bulldogs.

The Panthers (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rockwall (Rockwall, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Rockwall nipped Kingwood (Kingwood, TX), 52-44, in a non-league contest.
