Minnesota High School Basketball - Waterville-Elysian-Morristown can't hold off Triton
December 10, 2024: Dodge Center, MN 55927 Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers (Waterville, MN), 74-68 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Triton advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Cobras travel to United South Central (Wells, MN) to face the Rebels in a non-league match on Friday, December 13. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 2-2. United South Central lost 54-48 in their recent non-league match against Maple River (Mapleton, MN)
The Buccaneers now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethlehem Academy for a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. Waterville-Elysian-Morristown will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 61-54 non-league loss to West Lutheran (Plymouth, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-3.
