The Utopia Buffaloes basketball squad (Utopia, TX), was nudged 64-60 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Vanguard Christian Knights (Boerne, TX)

With the victory, Vanguard Christian advances its record to 8-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Calvary Chapel Christian Academy (Universal City, TX) to meet the Archangels in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 12. The Archangels enter the battle with a record of 4-1. Calvary Chapel Christian Academy won 54-27 in their recent non-league battle against McCauley Christian Academy (San Antonio, TX)
