Illinois High School Basketball - Nazareth Academy defeats Hinsdale South
December 10, 2024: LaGrange Park, IL 60526 The Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL), 51-41 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Roadrunners now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Joliet Catholic for a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 11. Nazareth Academy will play a Hilltoppers team coming off a 74-19 non-league loss to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Hinsdale South falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host St. Laurence (Burbank, IL) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-2. St. Laurence won 53-34 in their recent non-league bout against Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL)
