The Aquinas Monarchs basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Howells-Dodge Jaguars to 41 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Monarchs now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Archbishop Bergan for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Aquinas will confront a Knights team coming off a 47-38 non-league win over Roncalli Catholic (Omaha, NE). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Howells-Dodge falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Humphrey-Lindsay (Humphrey, NE) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, December 13.
