December 10, 2024: Sykesville, MD 21784 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD) and the visiting Boonsboro Warriors (Boonsboro, MD), observed South Carroll's basketball team knock off Boonsboro by a score of 43-31.
The Cavaliers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Century (Sykesville, MD). The Knights come into the Carroll County challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Century prevailed over Owings Mills (Owings Mills, MD), 60-35, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Walkersville Lions (Walkersville, MD) in a Central Maryland challenge, on Friday, December 13. Boonsboro will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 45-13 non-league win over Tuscarora (Frederick, MD).
